On July 4, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Zafer Milhem, Chariman of the Palestinian Energy & Natural Resources Authority 

Guo Wei explained the Global Development Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, introduced the important measures taken by China to implement the Initiative, and stressed that China is committed to creating a development paradigm featuring benefits for all, balance, coordination inclusiveness, win-win cooperation and common prosperity. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Palestine and other developing countries to jointly promote global development and inject strong momentum into the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

Zafer highly appreciated the major initiative on global development cooperation by Chinese President Xi Jinping and said that Palestine is willing to strengthen cooperation with China, safeguard the common interests of developing countries and build a new development paradigm between Palestine and China.
