On July 25, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Bassam al-Salhi, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and General Secretary of the Palestinian People’s Party(PPP). 

Guo Wei said that the Communist Party of China(CPC) attaches great importance to developing traditional friendly relations with the PPP, and is willing to give full play to the advantages of inter-party exchanges, and deepen the friendship between the two parties and the two peoples under the new situation to push China-Palestine relations to a new level. 

Salhi spoke highly of the continuous development, progress and innovation of the CPC to open up a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics by integrating the universal principles of Marxism with China’s reality. He wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success.
