On July 31, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Ahmad Majdalani, the Minister of Social Development of Palestine. 

Guo Wei explained the important propositions of the Global Development Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, and stressed that China is committed to promoting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, and is willing to strengthen cooperation with Palestine to promote stronger, greener and healthier global development and bring more benefits to the two countries and two peoples. 

Majdalani highly appreciated the Global Development Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, and said that Palestine is willing to strengthen the integration with China and jointly implement the spirit of the Initiative to promote stable and long-term cooperation on economic and social development between the two countries.
