On August 2, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Majdi Al-Khaldi, the Senior Diplomatic Advisor to the Palestinian President. 

Guo Wei said that under the care and guidance of the leaders of the two states, China-Palestine relations have developed steadily with fruitful cooperation results in various fields. Under the new situations, China is willing to work with Palestine to jointly promote the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative, and promote new and greater development of bilateral cooperation. 

Majdi said that Palestine is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two states, deepen the traditional friendship between Palestine and China, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in depth and substance to deliver greater benefits to the two countries and the two peoples.
