On August 11, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Brigadier General Bilal Abu Hamed of Palestinian National Security Forces (NSF). 

Guo Wei introduced the white paper titled “The Taiwan Question and China's Reunification in the New Era” and stressed that the separatist forces of “Taiwan independence” and external forces colluded with each other in provocation in an attempt to damage China's sovereignty and territorial integrity and obstruct and undermine the process of China's reunification. The Chinese side absolutely needed to respond resolutely to it. China's position is justified, reasonable and lawful, and China's countermeasures are firm, strong and measured. 

Bilal stressed that he upholds the one-China principle, opposes any provocation that infringes on China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and supports the Chinese people in opposing the separatist acts of “Taiwan independence”.
