On August 14, 2022, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Nasser Abu Bakr, Head of Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate(PJS).  

Guo Wei introduced the white paper titled “The Taiwan Question and China's Reunification in the New Era” and stressed that China firmly opposes the separatist activities of “Taiwan independence” and interference in China's internal affairs by external forces. China's countermeasures are necessary and justified responses to the provocations of the United States and “Taiwan independence” forces. They are completely just and lawful, and the consensus of the international community on one-China principle has been further consolidated. 

Nasser stressed that he upholds the one-China principle and opposes any provocation that infringes on China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
