On September 18, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Khalid Al-Esseily, Minister of National Economy of Palestine. 

Guo Wei spoke highly of the achievements of China-Palestine economic and trade cooperation, stressing that under the current situation, the two states should continue to cultivate new growth points in practical cooperation, constantly broaden the scope of cooperation, jointly promote the Global Development Initiative and the Belt and Road Initiative, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind. 

Al-Esseily said that Palestine attaches great importance to developing economic and trade cooperation with China, and is willing to further enhance the level of practical cooperation between the two states within the framework of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative.
