On November 1, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, talked with the National Security Institute of Palestine about the important spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. 

Guo Wei introduced the major achievements and significance of the 20th CPC National Congress, and said that the road of socialism suits China’s reality, reflects the will of the Chinese people, and meets the call of the times. Guided by the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, the Communist Party of China will promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through a Chinese path to modernization, work hard to realize the Second Centenary Goal, and make new greater contributions to the lofty cause of human peace and development. China and Palestine are good friends and partners. Both states have advocated to practice real multilateralism, jointly promote the regional situation and international order to develop towards peace, stability, justice and rationality, and actively promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. China supports the just cause of the Palestinian people and is willing to make continuous efforts to promote a just, reasonable and lasting settlement of the Palestinian question. 

Gerald, President of the National Security Institute of Palestine, said that the Palestinian think tank, experts and scholars warmly congratulated the successful convening of the 20th CPC National Congress, and sincerely congratulated General Secretary Xi Jinping on his re-election as the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The tremendous development achievements and international prestige of China have proved the correctness of the CPC and the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, providing valuable experience for other developing countries. The Institute will systematically study the major achievements of the 20th CPC National Congress to contribute to the development of friendly relations between China and Palestine.
