On November 8, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, communicated with Majdi Al-Khalidi, the Senior Diplomatic Advisor to the Palestinian President to introduce the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. 

Guo Wei introduced the important achievements and significance of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and stressed that Chinese modernization is more characterized by features that are unique to the Chinese context. It is determined by China’s unique objective conditions, China’s social system and the concept of governance, and the regular knowledge gained in China’s long-term practice of modernization. China has always upheld and promoted world peace through its own development, and China’s development and the world’s development are subject to mutual integration and mutual achievements. China will unswervingly promote high-standard opening up, adhere to the right course of economic globalization, contribute its share to building an open global economy, and expand the convergence of interests with other countries in the world. The traditional friendly relations between China and Palestine have been strengthened over time, and will surely achieve new development in the new era to benefit the two peoples. 

Al-Majdi said that President Abbas sent a message to congratulate the successful convening of the 20th CPC National Congress, and spoke highly of China’s success in combating the COVID-19, poverty eradication, pollution prevention and control, etc., and its leading position in science and technology, economy, education and other fields. He believed that the friendly relations between Palestine and China will secure more development achievements under the leadership of the leaders of the two states.
