On November 10, 2022, Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government for the Middle East, visited Palestine. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Zhai Jun and his delegation at the Presidency in Ramallah. The two sides exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern, including China-Palestine relations, the construction of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, the Palestinian question, etc. 

During his visit to Palestine, Zhai Jun also met with the Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr.
