On November 23, 2022, Guo Wei, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with the Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Rudeineh.

Guo Wei introduced the important achievements and significance of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and stressed that Chinese modernization is socialist modernization pursued under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. It contains elements that are common to the modernization processes of all countries, but it is more characterized by features that are unique to the Chinese context. Just as China cannot develop in isolation from the world, the world needs China for its development. China and other developing countries, including Palestine, will work together to uphold world peace, promote common development and build a human community with a shared future. 

Rudeineh congratulated the successful convening of 20th National Congress of the CPC, praised China for its historic development achievements and great contributions to world peace and security, and believed that the Chinese modernization will bring new opportunities to Palestine.
