On October 4, 2023, Zeng Jixin, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, attended the launching ceremony of the Project of Red Cross Red Crescent Response to Emergency, Essential Health Care, and Humanitarian Aid (in Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria) Under the Background of Covid-19 Epidemic. Younis Al-Khatib, President of the PRCS (Palestine Red Crescent Society), and Faisal Mahboub, Head of the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) Country Delegation in Palestine, attended the event. The project will provide emergency humanitarian response and medical supplies to the Palestinian people with a budget of USD 384,000.
