On March 26, 2025, Zeng Jixin, head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, paid a courtesy visit to Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, and presented the letter from President Xi Jinping to President Mahmoud Abbas.

Zeng said that, under the strategic guidance of the two presidents, China-Palestine relations have reached new heights in history. China will, as always, support the Palestinian people’s just cause of restoring their legitimate national rights and work for a comprehensive, just and durable solution of the Palestinian question at an early date based on the two-State solution.

President Abbas expressed heartfelt gratitude for President Xi’s greetings, highly appreciated China’s consistent and firm support for Palestine on the Palestinian question, and further expressed willingness to deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries and promote greater progress in Palestine-China relations.
