On January 14, 2026, H.E. Zeng Jixin, head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, attended a seminar on the Belt and Road Initiative hosted by Palestinian-Chinese Friendship Association  

Mr. Adnan Samara, Chairman of Palestinian-Chinese Friendship Association, and guest speaker Mohamed Khelis, along with other participants, stated that the Belt and Road Initiative aims to promote global common prosperity and advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. The Palestinian side actively supports the Belt and Road Initiative and is willing to deepen cooperation with China to achieve new progress in the strategic partnership between the two countries.  

H.E. Zeng expressed gratitude to the Palestinian-Chinese Friendship Association for organizing the seminar and highly appreciated its long-term positive contributions to fostering friendly bilateral relations and enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples. He emphasized that China remains unwavering in its support for the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights. Through providing development assistance, China supports Palestine in revitalizing its economy, increasing employment, and improving people's livelihoods. China is willing to work with Palestine to implement the Four Global Initiatives, jointly advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, continuously promote the development of bilateral relations, and better benefit the peoples of both countries.
