On July 25, 2026, H.E. Mr. Sun Zhen, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, paid a courtesy call to H.E. Dr. Ahmed Majdalani, Member of the PLO Executive Committee, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front.

Dr. Majdalani warmly congratulated on the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and welcomed Mr. Sun Zhen to his new post. He commended the strong friendship between China and Palestine, and affirmed that the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front remains committed to enhancing inter-party dialogue and advancing the overall bilateral relationship.

Mr. Sun elaborated on the important implication of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building. The two sides also exchanged views on the Palestinian question, regional situation, inter-party exchanges between China and Palestine, among issues of mutual interest.
