On August 13, 2026, H.E. Mr. Sun Zhen, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, along with Counselor Li Xin, diplomats Yang Yiming and Zhou Xin paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, Palestinian Interior Minister.

H.E. Ziad Hab Al-Reeh welcomed Sun to his new post and commended the traditional friendship and strategic partnership between Palestine and China and China’s just stance on the Palestinian issue. He stressed that Palestine will continue providing firm support for China on the international front.

Sun reaffirmed that China will always stand with the Palestinian people for their just cause of restoring their legitimate national rights.
