Head of Office Zeng Jixin Meets with Commander of Palestinian National Security Forces

On May 7, 2025, Zeng Jixin, head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Al-Abd Ibrahim Khalil, commander of the Palestinian National Security Forces.

Zeng said that, President Xi Jinping has put forward the Global Security Initiative (GSI), which advocates paying high attention to the legitimate security concerns of all countries. The GSI proposes peacefully resolving differences and disputes through dialogue and consultation, and striving for common security, thus contributing China’s solutions for facilitating political settlement of international and regional hotpot issues. China firmly supports the Palestinian people’s just cause, and is ready to speak up and uphold justice for Palestine in multilateral sessions. China will continue to provide assistance to Palestine to the best of its ability, and help Palestine alleviate humanitarian difficulties and carry out reconstruction.

Khalil highly appreciated China’s initiative and position, thanked China for its selfless help, and expressed his willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China so as to enhance the deep bond of friendship between the two countries.
