On August 16, 2026, H.E. Sun Zhen, Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with H.E. Majida Al-Masri, Deputy Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), H.E. Ramzi Rabah, member of the PLO Executive Committee and the DFLP Political Bureau and other DFLP leaders. 

The DFLP delegation welcomed Sun to his new post, highly commended China for consistently upholding a just stance and speaking for the Palestinian side on the international front. 

Sun noted that the CPC is currently engaged in a great struggle marked by many new historical characteristics, while Palestinian factions—including the DFLP—and the Palestinian people are also making unremitting efforts to achieve national liberation. Both sides are walking along the path of revolution. China will always stand with the Palestinian people for their just cause and is willing to enhance exchanges for the development of the China-Palestine strategic partnership.
