On August 24, 2026, representatives from the Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine attended the closing ceremony of a project aimed at assisting children from Palestine refugee camps,which is implemented by the “Volunteer for Hope” charity organization of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front.

In his remarks, H.E. Head of Office Sun Zhen noted that the project provided children with academic support, extracurricular activities, and psychological counseling, addressing issues such as school suspensions and psychological stress caused by wars and conflicts. The project has achieved excellent results. Sun hoped that the children would grow into pillars of society and serve as envoys of friendship between China and Palestine.

Member of the PLO Executive Committee, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Majdalani stated that the purpose of the project is to invest in and cultivate the next generation of Palestine. He also expressed sincere gratitude for China’s consistent support for the Palestinian people.

During the event, the children performed the traditional Palestinian dance art known as “Dabke” and showcased their learning achievements through stage plays and videos, which documented the highlights of the project.
