On October 13, 2026, H.E. Mr. Sun Zhen, Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, met with Jack Saadeh, Mayor of Ramallah.

Sun said that the China-aided projects in Ramallah, including the Ramallah Chinese School and Beijing Road, have delivered tangible benefits to people’s livelihoods and have become exemplary projects of China’s assistance to Palestine, which promote two sides’ friendship. China stands ready to continue carrying out more small and beautiful livelihood projects to make life more convenient for the people of Ramallah.

Jack expressed his deep gratitude for the support and assistance provided by China. He said that he would learn from China’s advanced experience in city management to make more contributions to promoting cooperation between the two countries’ s exchanges in various fields.

Sun also visited Ramallah City Hall and learned about the operation of its one-stop municipal service center accompanied by the Mayor.
