Guo Wei said that President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the 73rd World Health Assembly and delivered an important speech. From the perspective of jointly building a global community of health for all, he made six proposals and announced five initiatives, sending a strong signal of sharing, cooperation, and responsibility, presenting ideas for global anti-epidemic cooperation, and pointing out the direction for fighting against the pandemic through solidarity and cooperation. In response to the priorities and difficulties in the global fight against Covid-19, President Xi took further steps to demonstrate that China is not only responsible for the safety and health of its people, but also a major country that is committed to global public health. China stands ready to work with Palestine to fight the pandemic and overcome difficulties in the spirit of building a community with a shared future for mankind. In the near future, a batch of medical materials aided by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs will arrive in Palestine, and the Chinese medical expert team also get prepared to go to Palestine to support the prevention and control of the epidemic.
Majdi said that President Xi called for jointly building a global community of health for all, which embodies selfless love and historical responsibility of China as a top leader. He expressed deep admiration for this and thanked China for its selfless assistance to Palestine in its fight against the epidemic.
